Update on NXT Talent Pay

So far, guys under developmental deals have not been bonused based off of high-grossing house shows outside of Florida. Someone like Kevin Owens, who has a WWE main roster contract, will likely get paid off like someone in the main event of a high-grossing WWE house show for the upcoming NXT: Takeover in Brooklyn. One reason is that the NXT and developmental are big money losers to begin with and the NXT shows in Florida are losing money without paying out a percentage to talent. However, when an NXT performer is brought on the road to work WWE house shows, they are not only paid but also have their road expenses covered, which isnt the case for WWE talent.

WWE Considering Signing Two Independent Stars?

Both Rich Swann and Biff Busick are reported as being “strongly on the radar” of the WWE. However, it is not known if contracts have been offered at this point.
