About that Divas Revolution…

What was the point? They had all this exciting female talent in NXT and they somehow turned them all into your average Divas within about 6 weeks. I know the WWE is patting themselves on the back but it proves AJ Lee’s initial point 100% correct that they absolutely do not care about the women.

And it’s even more insane considering Ronda Rousey has proved there is a ridiculously huge market out there for a female ass kicker, i.e. NOT a Diva.

I think that a huge part of the problem is that WWE immediately started giving it the “cool Dad” treatment by actually calling it the Divas Revolution. Instead of letting anything get organically over, they were immediately packaged into three-woman teams with hashtag-ready team names and we were basically told what to post on Twitter to show how much we love this idea that the corporate overlords came up with. And then yeah, the booking and treatment is exactly the same as we’ve seen for the past decade anyway. Hell, if NXT is gonna be drawing 13,000 people the night before ever PPV, then just keep ‘em all down there and let HHH book that instead.
