Weird/Questionable pops

What are the things that have gotten pops where you’ve gone back and went "Why the hell did the crowd pop for that moment?"

A really weird one for me ​was Brutus Beefcake beating Mr. Perfect at Wrestlemania VI. Beefcake was never a particularly big star in Canada (or elsewhere) but the crowd went APESHIT when he pinned Hennig, like totally out of proportion to the star power and the moment. Maybe it was just a really big surprise, I dunno?

Also, and I know people are gonna jump all over me for this one because we all understand the reasoning behind it, the HHH return in MSG in 2002 has always seemed WAY out of proportion to the magnitude of the importance that he had at that point. It was a really massive reaction, but it’s not like the Rumble did mega-business with him as the obvious winner, and it’s not like Wrestlemania did mega-business with him in the World title match. As I said, I know why it happened, but I was never that excited to have him back again, especially after the Two Man Powertrip deal really burned me out on him.
