You Can’t See Knee

Hey Scott,

Coming off Cena’s legit injury, is it crazy to think WWE is missing a great opportunity to build up Rollins Knee Strike as a worked shoot move? In the past, they would’ve used this opportunity to have some guys get hit with the Knee & sell it like death and/or blade to build it as a killer. It reminds me of when Billy Kidman legit hurt someone with the Shooting Star or Nash dropped Show with the messed up PowerBomb or Owen hurt Austin with the infamous Fire Thunder Driver, and they used that as an angle making said move as a "dangerous" action, and it made the product more interesting for a bit… Yes, there would be some irony doing this type of angle with Rollins after banning the Curb Stomp, but at least it would be SOMETHING for him to do other than be written as a joke…

Thoughts?

​Oh yeah, Muay Thai knees are BADASS and people would totally buy them as a legit finisher. Plus he can legitimately hit it on anyone, unlike something like the Pedigree. I think it’s a fantastic idea, actually. ​
