HOF-Worthy?
By Scott Keith on July 31, 2015
I wanted to throw some names at you and see what your opinion is on
a. Whether the person belongs in the HOF (and if not, why not)
and
b. If they are deserving, why they aren’t in there yet
Some of these are names who barely (if ever) were in WWE. Some are from decades ago, others are more recently retired. I tried to mix it up. Also, I know the “Koko B. Ware Rule” kinda means anyone can get in, but just use your own judgement I guess.
Bruiser Brody
Never worked for the WWF and basically told Vince to get fucked, so I’m thinking not. The Berzerker was Vince’s little response to Brody turning down a Hogan program, or so the story goes.
Christian
Yup, he’ll go in someday in the midcarder slot.
Great Muta
He’ll go in under the token Japanese guy slot when they need to do a deal for footage someday.
Stan Hansen
Definitely should be in, probably won’t be because he dared to make money in Japan on his own.
Missy Hyatt
I’d like to see it just for the speech, but no. Shouldn’t and wouldn’t happen for a million political reasons.
Konnan
Probably over his dead body.
Vader
I can see it. He’s on good terms and was a big name.
Stacy Keibler
Zero chance unless she suddenly needs money really bad. Once she got big on Dancing with the Stars without Vince’s backing, she was done.
Nikita Koloff
He’ll go in someday.
Big Boss Man
Should be in already, probably hurt his case by dying and now they only want one dead wrestler a year, which makes it a VERY crowded field to break through.
The Honky Tonk Man
Should be in but I think he keeps turning it down.
Magnum T.A.
I can’t see it happening. Career ended way before Turner even bought Crockett.
William Regal
It’ll happen once he actually decides to retire for good.
Hardcore Holly
That would be the point where they rename the Koko B. Ware rule.
