Toys!
By Scott Keith on July 13, 2015
One of my hobbies is toy collecting. I love the Mattel WWE Elite line, particularly the “flashback” figures they do for older or retired wrestlers. I know you’re not specifically a toy expert or collector, but I was curious if you knew, based on marketability as well as the status of the relationship with a given talent and WWE, if you thought there would be any chance of any of the following talents being considered to be in the Elite line (or any line, really) in the future:
– Sycho Sid
Don’t see why not. He’s on good terms and still a big name.
– Ken Shamrock
No, that bridge has been thoroughly burned, from everything I’ve heard.
– Ahmed Johnson
Doubtful. I don’t think he left on particularly good terms and you never hear his name anymore.
– Bill Goldberg
He’s been pretty open about coming back if the money is right, so I’d say sure.
– Owen Hart
Not while Martha is still around.
– Tazz
Not that anyone would care about a Tazz figure, but I think he’ll be back sooner or later.
– The Dudley Boyz
Doesn’t seem likely now, does it?
– The Hardy Boyz
They’ll be back someday. They’re both on relatively good terms with Vince and the constant ATTITUDE ERA IZ AWESOME! stuff seems to guarantee a return at some point.
– The Nasty Boys
Only if they get packaged with Hogan’s figure as a free bonus.
– Sunny
I’m pretty sure they already regret the Hall of Fame inclusion.
– Bam Bam Bigelow
He didn’t leave on good terms, but it would be a visually striking figure and he’s certainly a big enough name, so maybe?
