Scottmania!

Ok, brother… Given that Hulk Hogan appreciation night is coming up I was wanting to read a positive from you about the Hulkster. We all (should) know the man wasn't the greatest technical wrestler of all time, but when people talk about the "it" factor, something about the man connected with the masses for decades now. So what's your favorite Hulk Hogan moment or memory? Did you ever cheer for the guy? Also, and perhaps more importantly, when I first discovered Hulk Hogan vs the Great Muta from '93 I had to make sure it wasn't someone dressed up like him. Why was Hogan's matches so much better in Japan?! Hulk Hogan doing an enzuigiri is something I never thought I'd see!
Do we seriously need ANOTHER celebration of Hulk Hogan? And no, I never cheered for Hogan. His character onscreen was a selfish jerkass and then later we learned what a selfish jerkass he was in real life. Plus he was a hypocrite who preached anti-drug messages while pumping himself full of steroids and doing blow. The WM18 return was a nice moment for him, I guess. And he had some really good matches with Stan Hansen and others in Japan.
