Howdy Blog O’Doomers!

It’s the Monday Night after the big Network announcement and I admit I was impressed. As they add content, which I’m guessing will be a lot of weekly TV from the old territories, I will be even more impressed.

As for the current product, this is my time to jump back in to this.From the Royal Rumble build to Extreme Rulz I’m in. They have no football to contend with, no other major sports are in playoff rush right now so hopefully the sports entertainment organization can bring the goods.

Hoping that this Punk vs. Authority stuff really gets some teeth behind it. I admit seeing Punk and HBK in the ring trading a barbs a few weeks back made me want to see them hook it up in a ***** classic in New Orleans. Maybe it leads to Punk vs. HHH which doesn’t excite me as much.

However, the whole rumor of Piper pitching a tag match…Ugh…Worst yet I don’t see Punk going for it. He seems to want to assume the HBK role of having the most memorable match at any given Wrestlemania. That being said the heat for a Hogan/Cena vs. Piper/Punk match would be something unique. Don’t know if the crowd would eat it up or shit on it but I guarantee it would be different.

Anyway, tonight’s RAW is in Providence, usually the New England crowds are fun. Enjoy the show and come out swinging but try to keep it clean.
