Hi Scott,

A few years ago I did a stand-up comedy show about being a wrestling fan and I’ve now written a book inspired by the show.  The basic premise is to provide a potted history of wrestling running parallel with my life growing up as a fan, why I stayed as one and the varying levels of social acceptability it had during my childhood, adolescence and young adulthood.

Its structure is inspired by Nick Hornby’s Fever Pitch and the hope is that it will appeal to both wrestling and non-wrestling fans in equal measure just as Hornby achieved with football/soccer fans and non-fans
