Plan B

Suppose that John Cena's elbow injury were so serious that it would be
simply impossible to do more than gimp out a match of a couple minutes
in length. What would you do for Summerslam?
in length. What would you do for Summerslam?
The options I can think of:
1. Have Daniel Bryan beat Cena for the title in a really quick match,
then close the show with Punk/Lesnar.
2. Have Daniel Bryan beat Cena for the title in a really quick match,
have Orton come out and cash in his Money in the Bank contract without
any real advantage, and have Orton/Bryan wrestle a PPV main event
length match.
3. Have Randy Orton cash in on Cena the night before on a house show,
or even on the morning of Summerslam at Summerslam Axxess, and go with
Orton/Bryan from the start, possibly moving Punk/Lesnar to the main
event.
4. Cancel the WWE title match, like they did for TLC.
It's apparently pretty serious, so hopefully Cena can still deliver the goods. If Orton leaving as champion is the planned outcome, then they would go with option 2, you'd think. That way it doesn't mess with the show's timing or the direction of the storyline.
