Howdy Blog O’Doomers,

Sorry about last week, I had a long post ready and scheduled but I forgot to his publish before I left the house. Oh well, it happens.

Only thing I remember about that post was that a poster suggested that the best way to keep heat on the Shield is to create tag teams for them to face. I think that’s a good idea. Rather than give the Usos a two-week push no one will believe why not re-unite R-Truth and The Miz or R-Truth and Kofi Kingston…Why not put Christian with someone like…RVD (I would have said Jericho before he left)?

Right now actually they should turn Ryback back and team him with Mark Henry, make them like a modern-version of those old big, hulking tag teams like the Natural Disasters. Have Cesaro and Barrett make a run at them since the Shield are a bit of a tweener faction. And if they make a couple of these teams at once there could actually be some interest. And who knows, the right pairings might actually have good matches.

And yes if TNA goes under as expected…Bring back the Dudleys…like yesterday. Perfect team to put over those guys.

But that was all last week. Time to move on.

I finally made it to Hogan’s Beach restaurant with a couple of girlfriends that were visiting from out of town and…wow the meathead-to-human ratio is incredible. I don’t even know how to describe it. As far as the restaurant goes the food is mediocre and the service is atrocious. The beach bar aspect of the place is much better as they keep those 20-somethings dancing and boozing the whole time. If the crowd is anything like it was when I was there only poor mismanagement will keep that place from making money off of alcohol sales alone.

Would I recommend it? Sure. Why not? It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but there is plenty of young, drunk eye candy for both sexes to enjoy. And a couple of ambitious guys bought a table of happily married women a round of drinks so who am I to complain?
