It either takes place during Austins heel turn, or not long after it. It was versus Angle and it might've been on Raw. Im pretty sure that during this match Austin hit Angle with like seven snap suplexes in a row, or at the very least everytime he went on offence he would just regular suplex him over and over.
Im also pretty sure that this match was the start of his "resurgence" as a good worker after years of garbage brawls in the main events. At least around the internet at the time.
So do you remember this? If so, when did it happen?
I remember something like it in 2001, yeah. Angle really did get a hell of a series of matches out of Austin. Can't pin down the date for you offhand, but it would have to have been after August, I'd guess.
