Hogan v. Corporate Synergy
By Scott Keith on August 17, 2012
What was the deal with Hogan screwing up the nWo branding in WCW? It seemed like everything he did or wore logo wise did not match what the WCW had set as the nWo branding.
Examples:
When Hogan won the WCW title and spray painted it, he spray panted NWo almost every time, even the WWE replica has it that way: http://wrestlingsuperstore.com/wcwnwoblackchampionshipreplicabelt.aspx
Hogan had a weightlifting belt that he wore with his tights and it was monogrammed N . W . O
There were other things too.
Was he that big of an idiot? I am sure WCW did not have a costuming department like WWE does now (or ever) to be consistent.

Dude, they were ANARCHISTS. They did what they wanted, when they wanted, and if the Man didn’t like the way they spraypainted their logo, then TOO BAD. One thing I did notice about Hogan was that he would frequently wear his own custom merch instead of the nWo stuff, for the obvious reason. He might not have known how to spray nWo according to corporate standards, but the dude could move some t-shirts.
