Mea culpa

A question for the blog: we hear a LOT from ex-WWE writers and often it's critical of Vince, HHH, and the stories overall. But has one of those former writers ever acknowledged an idea of theirs that didn't work? I have a hard time taking these guys completely seriously because it's never their fault. I'm not saying that Vince, Hunter, et. al. have no bad ideas, I'm just surprised no one else takes responsibility.
I've heard a lot of writers who talk about dumb ideas they had. It's just that they normally get shot down before they ever make it to air. Usually what actually airs has been approved or created by Vince/Hunter.
